Therapy is an investment of time, energy and money. I aim to keep my fees clear and straightforward so you can decide what is realistic for you.
Typical sessions are fifty minutes, usually once a week. We will always agree a pattern that fits your life and review it together.
Your session fee covers not only the time we spend together, but also the thinking and preparation around it, including notes, supervision and ongoing training that helps me to support you safely and well.
I want therapy to be as accessible as possible while still sustainable. Like many therapists, I offer a small number of reduced fee spaces for people on low incomes or in training, and I can also signpost to low cost services locally.
If you are worried about affordability, please mention this in your enquiry so we can think together about what support is realistic for you.
The time we agree is set aside especially for you. If you need to cancel or move a session, please give at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or missed sessions, are usually charged at the full fee.
Some people come for a short period to focus on a particular situation. Others prefer longer term work so that we can go at a steadier pace and explore patterns that have been there for a long time.
There is no fixed number of sessions. We will check in regularly about how therapy is feeling and whether it is still useful, and you are free to end whenever you choose.
